friday oct 12

1. -i gave my paper back to dez i don't remember the number
2. My story about freddy zamora and sinsored got published.
3. 26 people contributed to the creation of the paper.
4. My favorite photo is the picture of Freddy and Yera dancing together at prom on page 6 because it is in the moment of the prom queen and king dancing and the contact he has with her while dancing.
5. My favorite story in the paper is Sean's column, "Inside the Outside" on the opinions page, page 2, it's about his thoughts on high school and what do we knowledge we really get out of high school, it's my favorite because I think it's well written and I can relate to the point he is getting across.
6. My favorite graphic is John's drawing that is a part of Sean's story, I like it because it truly depicts the kids at school in my opinion. I think it will attract many people to the story because the drawing is interesting.
7. The news pages are my favorite because it has a good amount of both pictures, art, cutouts, and graphics. I think every things on the pages look good and isn't just a bunch of words on a page, the art and pictures bring it to life.
8. This issue I want to put more art on my page and be more creative with it since it's the entertainment page, I want to also do more cutouts, this issue I'll also take pictures for homecoming.and blue & gold night

three little pigs video

1.  The story of The Three Little Pigs was covered through the internet, newspaper, and TV.
2. It has the same concept, but through the media if was taken as a serious issue people were concerned about and protested and tweeted over.
3. They didn't really interview anyone, they filmed the police speaking about it and the rioters and what they had to say about the case.
4.  They covered the opposite opinion of the three little pigs being guilty and the debate over whether they're guilty or not.
5. They didn't cover what exactly happened as in why they murdered the wolf and the story behind it.
6. The Guardian did not express their opinion but covered the opinions of others.
7. Yes we can cover events and show different sides of a story and how people feel about a certain topic.
8. You can make it a reality by covering it, what really happened, and showing different sides of the story from others but not your opinion because you're the journalist documenting it.

3. Mrs. Ball if the director for diamonds and is located in the fine arts building, Mr. Faust teacher band, Mrs. Bennet teachers orchestra, Mrs. Seagle teaches theater, Mrs. Medina, Mr. Cannon, and Mrs. Yopp teach art.

1. making polls and surveys would be interesting and pull more people to read the paper since they know they'd be in the paper and so would their opinions
2. definitely need to dig deeper with people we interview, start conversations with them and ask them more personal questions and ask till you get those good answers that have a lot of meaning in them

Front Pages of the World

1. my favorite newspaper front page was Metro from new york, new york because the headlines and main picture draw your attention, even the ad for spotify on the cover draws your attention.
2. my favorite headline was the main one that said "just dying to live here" because the picture with the headline is like a joke but also makes you want to read the story.
3. there aren't really stories on the cover but previews of the stories inside to make you want to open up the paper and read.
4. they all have a lot of headlines on them talking about the stories they've covered.
5. some have interesting pictures, some have pictures that dont show exactly what their story is about, some have interesting headlines but no story on the cover, other have headlines and a story under it.

1. Hentz poses for a mugshot at the Travis County Jail on February 21st. He was arrested for attempted break in at Carls Jr. and sentenced to 4 years in prison.

2. Charles Zhou teaches the students how to speak chinese in the first class on campus to teach the language. When the class started 32 students signed up for the class and they were separated in to two class periods.

3. Gerald Brady plays a couple tunes on his guitar for his chemistry class. Brady's a musician outside of school and it was the first time he played for his class, "it was such a treat" one of his students said.

4. Britney Douglas poses for a picture with her baby bump proudly showing. She's 5 months a long and decided to continue highschool and get her diploma.

5. Senior Wes Marberry splashes his way to the finish line. He took home first place out of 50 other swimmers who came from schools all over the state.

Two parachuters and an aircraft take a dive to the ground after the plane stopped responding. No one was killed, but the parachuters did have severe injuries as did the pilot.
A family reunites after Jim's difficult two year service in Afghanistan. He was welcomed home by his son and wife who waited anxiously for him at home.


     
A truck is gashed in to a house after hurricane Katrina. The aftermath of the hurricane left over 1000 houses destroyed and 140 people dead.
